Privacy Policy
This policy describes the information Peekfy processes to provide public-profile monitoring, billing, account access, and alerts.
Effective August 22, 2026
Information Peekfy processes
Peekfy stores account and authentication information needed to operate your account, including your Firebase user identifier, email address, verification state, notification preferences, and age confirmation. It stores the public Instagram profile you choose to monitor, validated following snapshots, detected follow and unfollow history, scan telemetry, watcher state, and subscription entitlement records.
Instagram data
Peekfy monitors information that is publicly visible for supported Instagram profiles. Peekfy does not request your Instagram password and does not bypass private accounts. Detection times show when Peekfy observed a change, not the exact time of an Instagram action.
Service providers
Firebase provides authentication and database infrastructure. Dodo Payments and PayPal handle checkout and subscription billing for the payment method you choose. Resend delivers transactional email alerts. Infrastructure and Instagram-data providers process the limited information needed to operate those functions under their own terms and privacy practices.
Use and sharing
Peekfy uses stored information to authenticate users, verify entitlement, run validated monitoring, show history and insights, deliver requested alerts, prevent abuse, and diagnose service failures. Peekfy does not expose monitoring history to users who do not own the associated watcher.
Retention and requests
Monitoring history and operational records are retained while needed to provide and secure the service. A self-service account deletion workflow is not currently available. See the Support page for the current support-channel status before sending a privacy request.
