Our service does not send a notification to the monitored profile. We monitor publicly available following information through our service.
Does it work with private Instagram accounts?+
No. Monitoring is limited to publicly available Instagram information. We do not bypass private accounts.
How often do you check for changes?+
Our standard monitoring plan periodically checks the profile, currently targeting around two checks per day. Timing may vary depending on availability or service conditions.
Can I see who they followed before I started monitoring?+
No. We first create a baseline of the current following list. Changes detected after that baseline can then be added to your timeline.
Is the detected time the exact time they followed someone?+
No. The timestamp shows when our system detected the change. The actual follow or unfollow may have happened earlier.
Do I need to connect my Instagram account?+
No Instagram password is required to monitor a supported public profile.
What are Following Insights?+
Following Insights summarize supported aggregate data from validated monitoring, such as total following, recent follow and unfollow activity, net change, public/private mix, and verified/unverified mix. Availability depends on the fields returned by the data provider. Peekfy does not use these statistics to infer attraction, cheating, gender, or other sensitive conclusions.
